At La Plonplonière, French terroir and cultural heritage are just as important as golf!

And with good reason: the region is brimming with architectural treasures and little-known places where history has left its mark. The Chartreuse de Neuville is a sumptuous example, which is why we always recommend a visit to our guests.

2023 was the year of great news for this 700-year-old lady. It has been identified as an endangered French site by the Mission Patrimoine and selected to take part in the lottery the organization is organizing for charitable purposes. The funds raised will contribute to the ongoing restoration work.

It’s a timely contribution, given that the restoration work on the main body of the building, which began in late 2016 and is far from complete, is one of the largest historic monument projects in France.

The Heritage Mission, led by Stéphane Bern, deployed by the Fondation du Patrimoine and supported by the French Ministry of Culture, contributes to safeguarding French heritage in all its diversity.
